In the world of consumer packaged goods, product labeling provides an opportunity to inform, educate and even entertain. From nutrition facts to product narratives and health claims to product efficacy, it's all on the label. Recent initiatives taken by the FDA to standardize the nutrition facts panel reflects a general consensus, however, that consumers for the most part don't know what they're looking at, or looking for, when reading the label.
